Primary/Fills-in for store-level sales person to small/large accounts like supermarkets/convenience and gas stores, drug stores. Responsible for providing service to and growing business with assigned multiple accounts, which are visited daily. Orders product to be delivered by another employee to the store within 48 hours. Responsible for ongoing rotation and stocking of product on the shelves and displays, in coolers, vending equipment, and store's backroom. Moves product from the store's backroom to shelves and displays. Builds displays and sets up promotional materials such as pricing signs and banners. Has little authorization over pricing as most is done through chain-wide deals. Has frequent interaction with store management.
This positions requires lifting/loading pushing and pulling cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a 10-12 hour period as well as bending, squatting and reaching while merchandising product
No more than one moving violation in the past 12 months.
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
▫Develop all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service
▫Take inventory and place orders for future PBG Delivery
▫Solicit new business to increase volume and new package distribution within the area boundaries
▫Sell and execute promotions, solicit placement of equipment and sell sufficient product inventory
▫Utilize point-of-purchase materials to stimulate sales
▫Maintain and increase shelf facings, clean shelving and rotate product
▫Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
▫Merchandise product sections and build displays to stimulate sales
▫Complete required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility
Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
▫18 years or older
▫Pass the Drug Test
▫Pass the background check
▫Pass the validated Selection Test
▫Must have car or personal transportation to access multi-store locations within assigned shift
▫Valid driver's license
▫Proof of insurance
▫MVR Background check

▫Making sales calls and selling products (for example, introducing new products, launching promotions, establishing new points of distribution in existing accounts, or making deals)
▫Placing product orders (for example, taking inventory or calling in orders)
▫Managing accounts (for example, meeting targets in sales, execution and service, identifying opportunities to improve the account, or growing sales in existing accounts)
▫Working for a retail businesses or grocery stores (for example, understanding store operations, knowing backroom/inventory management, or understanding how shelves are stocked)
▫Merchandising products (for example, filling shelves, building displays, making products look attractive on shelves, rotating product, cleaning shelves, or eliminating out of stocks and out of date products)
▫Managing inventory (for example, taking stock of current products, forecasting future product needs,
or determining the amount and timing of order)
▫Serving customers (for example, resolving customer issues, ensuring appropriate communication with store managers, or following up on customer requests)
▫Direct store delivery (order-entry, sale/distribution of products directly to store rather than 3rd party, working as part of an account team)
▫Experience in the beverage industry (milk, juice, carbonated soft drinks, water, energy ' products, packages, etc.)
