Job Description: GENERAL FUNCTION: Serves as the primary financial planning expert and resource for high net worth prospects and client relationships involving complex financial issues and strategies. Provide professional consulting / advisory services and solutions to clients through the development, delivery and implementation of financial planning: (estate, tax, insurance, option, investment, retirement). DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide professional consulting / advisory services and solutions to clients through the development, delivery and implementation of advanced planning techniques: (estate, tax, insurance, option, investment, retirement) * Develop proactive, reciprocal calling and referral relationships with client relationship managers and sales officers to create planning strategies and opportunities for high net worth client base * Coach and counsel RMs on financial planning strategies via formal training or as part of client relationship reviews. * Develop and expand relationships with centers of influence, such as attorneys and CPAs, resulting in additional business opportunities. * Assist with development and presentation of training programs * Must be able to profile clients and then articulate complex concepts, in an understandable way. * Must be able to converse with clients, their advisors, and RMs convincingly. * Conducts or oversees original research into complex tax and estate planning issues. * Plays a major role in the sales process in acquiring significant relationships. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and provide challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.

Job Requirements |

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * CPA, or JD with LLM required * 5-7 years in financial and/or estate planning related work, preferably at a high quality professional financial services company or firm. * High level of technical expertise in estate, tax, option, retirement, insurance, investment and cash flow/capital needs planning analysis * Advanced listening, written, and oral communication skills * Experience in sales and/or marketing * Resourcefulness in finding creative solutions |
