District Manager / Resident
Job Description
The Resident District Manager is responsible for all aspects of pharmaceutical Laboratory operations across multiple site locations in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and NJ Region. This position is responsible for hiring, staff supervision, development and training, compliance, policies and procedures, budgets, quality controls, transportation, janitorial, food, mail services, material handling and logistics, office services, conferencing and reprographics. The Manager must possess the technical knowledge to maintain the high quality standards of the client�s lab. Excellent financial acumen, client relation skills, communication and follow up. Experience in manufacturing, R&D and office environments preferred. You must have knowledge to manage a Laboratory environment to ensure compliance with appropriate SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures, GCP (Good Clinical Practice) and ICH guidelines (International Conference on Harmonisation standards).You must have at least 8 years prior experience managing multiple managers.
Position Summary:
Functions as the central point of contact for one complex account with multiple locations, and possibly multiple contracts. Oversees performance of unit management including budget development, client relations, sales and profitability performance, conformance with company policies and procedures and staff training and development. Liaison between company resources and unit operating managers.
Basic Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree
Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:
5 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience
Basic Functional Experience Required:
