Financial Planning Analyst - (Job Number: 0900013085)
Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the national financial planning function. This includes, but is not limited to, supporting the administration, tracking and analysis of approved capital projects; supporting a range of analyses related to the annual planning cycle and interim forecasting, providing Hyperion planning application customer support.1. Support the administration, tracking and analysis of the approved annual CHI consolidated capital budget as well as the approved annual National Office capital budget.2. Conduct post completion audits of capital projects by reviewing business plans and working with project owners to assess outcome and consider results in the evaluation of future capital requests.3. Develop reporting tools to review actual versus budget capital spend; and work with the operations team to proactively assess project spending versus approved budgets to ensure timely re-allocation of available capital.4. Support the Long Range Financial Plan, interim forecasting and risk analysis activities as needed.5. Develop and implement process improvements to ensure accuracy, effectiveness and timeliness of assigned tasks.6. Support the development and maintenance of Financial Planning Department policies and procedures related to area of responsibility.7. Perform other duties as needed.
Job Requirements
a. Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred): Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance-related field required.b. Experience (required and preferred): Minimum 3 years experience in finance and/or financial reporting required. Healthcare experience preferred. c. Desired skills: Lawson, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Smart View, Essbase.
