With positions available in so many areas, there’s sure to be an opportunity for you to put your imagination to work!Role Summary/PurposeThe Performance Test Engineer will build and execute application load / stress tests, analyze test results, isolate problems, and coordinate performance tuning to ensure business availability and response time SLAs are met. Essential Responsibilities Work closely with application teams to ensure performance test requirements are understood, conform to standard process input templates, and are delivered in a timely fashion Review proposed transaction simulations, workload, and test data to ensure design meets Performance Test methodology best practices Ensure performance test scripts developed offshore conform to standards; create scripts if necessary Execute performance tests Analyze test results, draw conclusions, and recommend performance focus areas to appropriate subject matter expert Coordinate performance bottleneck remediation Using Six Sigma tools, identify process improvement opportunities, and automate where possible
Qualifications/Requirements Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in an IT position) At least 5 additional years IT experience At least 1 year experience in performance test methodology: designing tests and execution scenarios At least 1 year experience working with Load Runner or other performance testing toolELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: Able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act Be 18 years of age or older Willing to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process Willing to work out of an office in Visteon Village, Van Buren County, Wayne Township (near Ann Arbor / Detroit) Please submit your application for employment through GEcareers.com to be considered
