JOB GROUP SUMMARY
Our IT professionals create best-in-class solutions that integrate technology, information and business processes. They keep applications, systems, networks and processes up and running so employees, members, providers and plan sponsors stay connected with needed tools and information.

POSITION SUMMARY
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of the technologies that make up Aetna's centralized security event logging infrastructure.
  • Work with IT personnel, and business areas in for advice on compliance to Aetna security standards.
  • Consult on technical evaluations for projects, external connectivity, build creations, product evaluations, and cross platform support requirements.
  • Design and support complex security deliverables in concert with key business initiatives.

  • Multiple years of experience with HP CLW (SenSage) solutions.
  • Experience with Guardium Database audit solutions.
  • Experience with Tripwire file integrity solutions.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills including the ability to cross train peers.
  • Broad technical knowledge in security/networking features for OS including Windows and *Nix. This includes automation with Perl, shell scripting, etc.
  • Familiarity with CA Siteminder and associated agent installations on web platforms (IHS, IIS).
  • Familiarity with application servers and associated pluggable security interfaces for J2EE, .NET, COM.
  • Experience with industry standard federation specifications (SAML, WS-*, XACML)
  • Self-managing with the ability to work with a wide array of both technical and non-technical people.
  • Communications savvy with appropriate audience sensitivity a must.
  • Experience in defining, documenting and upholding standards. This includes an eye towards industry trends and standards.

    The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

    ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION
    As a government contractor, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable results following submission of Department of Defense (DoD) form SF85P or higher security. You will be required to submit an application describing the previous seven (7) years of your life and to provide proof of U.S. citizenship in order to work on contracts such as the DoD TRICARE Managed Care Support Contract. This process takes several months to complete. During this time, the DoD and Aetna Government Health Plans will grant interim access to U.S. citizens allowing you to work until your background investigation is completed.
