Job Description

We are currently seeking a General Plant Maintainer - Maintenance Technician for our Elk Grove Village, IL Facility. This key position oversees the proper functioning of all operations for this specific plant and ensures efficiency, safety and quality throughout. Mechanics report directly to the Maintenance Manager.

What Will You Do?
Make a Difference!

  • Repair, inspect, maintain, and diagnose various types of machinery in an effective way so as to eliminate repetitive repairs and to ensure the equipment's ability to produce quality bottles in a safe manner at the proper production speed.
  • Accomplish preventive maintenance every month to ensure the upkeep and functioning of production lines.
  • Provide important mechanical and electrical maintenance services to an industry leading company!
  • Assist in neck tooling changes and mold changes.

  • Be honest in all you do and make the best repairs possible to allow machines to optimally perform and ensure the safety of other employees.
  • Persevere to make sure every repair you perform is in line with the standard of excellence set at CCC.
    Have a Safety Conscious Attitude!
  • Comply with OSHA standards as well as company policies and procedures as they related to safety and hygiene standards.
  • Always perform the lock out/tag out procedure whenever shutting down and restarting machinery.

    Requirements

    • High School diploma or equivalent required
    • Minimum 3 years industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment
    • Prior diognostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience preferred
    • Basic computer skills
    • Must possess basic hand tools and test equipment

    Preferred Skills/Attributes

  • Previous work in the manufacturing environment.
  • Trade school, technical school training, or AS degree is preferred.
  • Blow molding maintenance experience preferred.
