We are currently seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for our Engineering department in our Newington facility.
In this position, a Senior Manufacturing Engineer can expect to perform the following duties:
Interpret mechanical drawings to define Bills of Materials and manufacturing processes.
Product line interface with manufacturing operations, quality, design and customers, both domestic and international.
Technical leadership in development and administration of new/improved processes and equipment in commercial environment including gathering information to determine process needs; cost estimates; and process equipment design, procurement, installation, and startup.
Troubleshoot process interruptions/problems and recommend and implement resolutions including analysis and consideration of new innovations in materials, machinery, manufacturing, and chemical processing techniques.
Address customer and regulatory requirements and concerns.
Coordinate efforts of multifunctional groups to effectively implement activities to meet the project scope, schedule, and capital spending targets.
Improve the safety, quality, and productivity of manufacturing processes/equipment.

Job Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position must have:
Effective project management and communication skills.
Familiarity with certain ASME Code and industry requirements related to nuclear power plant equipment, systems, and operations is highly desirable.
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering *Other Engineering Disciplines may also be appropriate.
3-5 years of experience required.
