Job Summary:
 
●  Serves as primary interface between the SoN and the offices of the Academic Vice President, Human Resources, and Payroll. Manages processes for employment contracts and personnel actions for faculty and  staff.
●  Writes and manages budgetary aspects of SoN grants and contracts
●  Operationalizes systems for faculty and student compliance with regulatory requirements
●  Manages SoN projects involving interface with other University and agency departments
 
Requirements
Skills and Abilities:
● Ability to interpret and implement accounting policies and procedures
● Ability to analyze data and prepare financial reports.
● Supervisory and evaluation skills
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Excellent interpersonal relationships. Ability to be a team player and collaborator
● Leadership skills
● Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all situations.  
 
Education, Qualifications and/or Experience:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required. MBA preferred.
● Minimum of five years administrative, fiscal, or management experience (in higher education preferred).
 
 
Physical Requirements:
● While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand.  The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and receive detailed information through verbal communication.
