Maintenance Technician - HVAC

A leading worldwide distributor of scientific equipment, supplies, chemicals and furniture has a Temp-to-Hire position available for a Maintenance Technician.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Technician:

• Maintains the building electrical system, as well as the heating and cooling equipment.
  
• Performs maintenance and/or general carpentry on items such as:


• Doors
  
• Floors
  
• Docks
  
• Overhead Doors
  
• Roof Downspouts
  
• Product Racks
  
• Materials Handling Equipment




• Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded.
  
• Answers security alarm calls as needed.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills for this Maintenance Technician position include the following:

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Technical School Certificate preferred
  
• One (1) year minimum level of direct experience in a similar position
  
• Knowledge of HVAC systems required
