Role Summary/Purpose
GE Money Bank (GEMB) is an $18B FDIC-insured Federal Savings Bank (FSB) with the Office of Thrift Supervision ("OTS") as its primary regulator. The FSB is the legal entity that originates the vast majority of GE Capital Retail Finance products.

The Internal Audit team is seeking an experienced Audit Senior. This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the completion of internal audits and examinations for financial/business processes, including wing-to-wing process documentation,

Essential Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit testwork under the direction of an Audit Manager for SOX404, Operational and Compliance reviews.
- Identify, document and present business issues and proposed recommendations to all levels of management.
- Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of GE Money Bank internal control environment.
- Assist in special projects designed to improve operational effectiveness and reduce costs and defects.
- Perform post-audit follow-up work to ensure identified business issues are resolved.

Qualifications/Requirements

YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT *BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business*4+ years audit/accounting experience*Strong knowledge of GAAP*Results-oriented, ability to work flexible hours and travel avg 10-40%. *PC Skills: Power Point, Excel, Word, Access* All applications for employment must be submitted through either www.gecareers.com or the Career Opportunity System (COS) to be considered * You must be 18 years or older * You must be willing to take a drug test as part of the selection process * You must be willing to submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process * You must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States

-CPA Certification -Financial Services Industry Experience-Proven knowledge of SOX404 requirements-Adaptable to changing circumstances-MBA/Masters degree in Business, Finance or Accounting -FMP Graduate (Internals)-Strong oral and written communication, presentation and facilitation skills; proven ability to interact with all levels of management. -Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments-Working knowledge of consumer lending and bank laws and regulations-Strong analytical, risk management, and problem solving skills
