RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Application Developer will be on site with business partners, responsible to ascertain business needs, analyze existing end-user-developed applications, design new solutions, code new solutions, support testing and implementation. To support the rapid development needs, a set of design patterns (include code and document templates) will be used. Additional work may be required to create new design patterns and templates based on new business requirements. This position will also include 24x7 production support responsibilities - including pager rotation.
Provide support to customers for technology issues and questions, facilitating communications with DC-based teams
Quickly elicit or review business requirements and use cases and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts
Analyze / reverse engineer end-user developed applications
Design, develop, and document application functionality
Implement solutions, adhering to SDLC controls and process
Qualifications:
Must-Have Skills:
Demonstrated ability to independently research, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new tools, utilities, programming languages
4+ years of experience developing solutions in the Windows desktop environment with solid understanding of the Windows architecture, experience with common Windows utilities, experience with multiple Windows scripting tools and languages.
4+ years of experience in application integration using variety of platforms, products, and protocols.
4+ years of experience in full life cycle development including requirement analysis, system design, code implementation, unit testing, system integration and production support
1+ years of experience working with Business Objects
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
