OHL is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Inside Sales Support Representative. This position conducts phone interviews with prospective lead opportunities in order to secure pre-qualified leads for hand-off to Business Development (BD) team for follow-up. The duties of this position will include: Utilize pre-segmented and pre-assigned target lists to contact potential clients; including, but not limited to publication subscriber lists, BD Target List, Association member list, D&B/Hoovers segmented database, and others as directed/purchased/acquired Work closely with BD team to develop and modify call script and workflow process that identifies the “Logistics Decision Maker” and efficiently utilizes potential clients time Evaluate and qualify company’s fit and willingness to evaluate services including; how their transportation is currently managed, whether they use technology, how they manage back office support functions (FAP), number of locations, mix of modes (LTL, FTL, Expedited, International, other), number of shipments inbound and outbound per day and other questions as appropriate and as time permits Train with Business Development team to learn or expand your knowledge of OHL’s 3PL service offerings Cultivate and develop qualified lead appointments for the Brokerage Sales team via phone interviews Secure qualified leads and convert them to Follow-up appointments for hand-off to BD Team Perform Activity Tracking of all calls made and report to BD team via spreadsheet; Number of calls made, completed calls, contacts made and accepted, appointment sent to BD and declined appointments
Must have at least 1 year experience 3PL/ Inside Sales. HS Diploma / GED required Bachelor’s Degree in Business preferred Prior Sales experience in a call center enviornment preferred Strong technical skills required Knowledge in MS Excel required
