Network Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will be assigned as a network engineer responsible for the design, integration and deployment of a leading-edge information transport infrastructure. The candidate will be a key participant in the detailed design, test and integration of network solutions. The candidate will ensure compliance with engineering schedules & priorities and adherence to client standards & procedures. He/she will participate in periodic technical reviews and client meetings, and regularly interact with management, clients, vendors and team members.
Required Education:
Requires BS/BA degree.
Required Work Experience:
Requires 2-5 years experience in a broad range of networking tasks including planning, design, test, integration and deployment of high-speed, secure, highly survivable, voice, data & video networks. Specific expertise is required in IP network design and implementation, integration of network management systems and systems management software and platforms. Experience in U.S. military network systems is highly desired.
Other Desirable Requirements:
U.S. citizenship and a Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain one) are required. Some travel may be required. CompTIA Security Certification (or ability to obtain one within first 3 months of employment) required.
