    Imager Indexer:
     
    The Image Indexer is responsible for the Image Indexing functions of the referral process and monitors the index queue, accurately attaching images to patient referral/profile and setting the priority level for the referral. This includes scanning the referral/prescription into the system, entering patient information from various sources: including patients, physicians, practitioners and clinics in order to complete the intake/referral of a patient for infusion/specialty pharmacy services provided by the facility.
     
  • Job Requirements
    Job Responsibilities:
    • Creating the patient profile, which includes:
    • Searching the system for the patient or
    • Creating a new patient profile based on information provided
    • Entering patient demographics
    • Creating the patient referral and attaching the appropriate referral image, including prescriptions and doctor referrals
    • Setting the priority level
    Required Skills & Competencies:
    • HS Diploma/GED
    • 1-2 years prior data entry experience in a Windows based system
    • Pharmacy/medical terminology
