Do you have at least 6 months to 3 years experience supporting custom design tools and flows for an Engineering design team? Are you a recent college graduate? Coding and scripting? CAD Engineer designing Sub-Micron Full Custom Flash and Phase-Change memories? My client is searching for a new full time employee to join their team but they must have the following experience: Excellent with coding tools, flows and scripting R&D CAD Engineer responsible for Flow-Development & Design-Support of VLSI Full-Custom Mixed-Signal Flash-Memory & Phase-Change Silicon-Chips. Areas of responsibility include - Designing, Developing, Maintaining and providing User Support of CAD tools - Develop & Support of Digital-Synthesis/Timing-Convergence Tools & Flows (Design-Compiler/Primetime/etc) - Develop & Support of Automatic Place & Route Tools & Flows (Astro/Encounter/IC-Complier/etc) - Develop & Support of Support of Digital Design & Verification Tools & Flows (Verilog/VHDL/VHDL-A/Specman/System-Verilog/etc) - Develop & Support of Mixed-Signal Netlisting for Mentor Tools (ADMS/ADiT/etc)
Technical-Skills: - Understanding of digital & circuit simulation and functional & performance verification Tools - Understanding of Digital-Synthesis/Timing-Convergence and Automatic Place & Route Tools - soft-Skills: - Solid interface skills to interact with internal and external tool vendors and design engineering teams - Ability to drive resolution of issues with tools and/or flows across multiple design automation and design engineering teams - Ability to work in a cross-site & cross-cultural environment
