Job Description:
URS EG&G Division is actively seeking talented IT security professionals at mid and senior career levels to join our growing cyber security team. This is a part-time temporary position. Team members support our clients by: analyzing security programs; developing security policies and procedures; participating in the certification and accreditation process; preparing risk assessment reports; developing system security plans, risk mitigation plans, contingency plans, and disaster recovery plans; supporting security tests and evaluations (ST&Es); creating Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms); conducting DIACAP and FISMA self-assessments; conducting system security assessments; andproviding security documentation support.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent. Successful candidates will possess a mix of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP, DoD 8510.01); DoD information assurance controls defined in DoDD 8500.1 and DoDI 8500.2; Application Security and Development Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG)FISMA, FIPS, the NIST 800 series, OMB A-130, and other information security-related federal guidelines; excellent client relationship management skills; well-developed oral and written communication skills; an ability to deal with individuals at all levels; an active government security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
