What HR Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Supports internal clients through the facilitation, design, and/or implementation of employee engagement, leadership development and strategic business initiatives.


What is expected of you for success in your role
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and experience in employee engagement best practices and methods.
  • Modifies COE programs or develop new programs to meet specific client needs utilizing in-depth knowledge of a broad range of HR functions. Uses presentation tools and techniques to prompt learning to occur in live or virtual settings.
  • Identifies coaching opportunities and provides coaching for new and experienced leaders on a wide range of standard and non-standard situations. Analyzes the development needs of client groups. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of leadership development.
  • Manages complex ER investigations and acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues. Gathers the relevant data and takes a broad perspective to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrates depth and breath of knowledge and experience in identifying employee relations trends and gathering information on employee satisfaction. Anticipates, recognizes and interprets environmental signs which indicate the level of employee satisfaction.
  • HRD role provides HR Generalist support to the VPO for the Northeast for Medical DC Operations.





 

Job Requirements

  • Performs assessments and listens to internal/external customers to understand and anticipate their needs and determine their priorities in the context of the overall enterprise.

Accountabilities in this role

 

This position supports the VP of Operations for the Northeast and East coast.  Ther region stretches from New York to North Carolina, with 2 direct reports and eight locations (10 sites).  This individual is a strategic business partner and valued member of the VP Operations senior leadership team. Responsibilities include:

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • 7-10 years experience
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • PHR/SPHR preferred
