Job Description 

MAJOR DUTIES: (May perform any or all of the following duties.)
  • Promote and sell video and Comcast High Speed Internet and Comcast Digital Voice services throughout a specific assigned territory via door-to-door sales to residential and/or MDUs (multiple dwelling units) prospective customers.
  • Acquire new and upgrade current subscribers by conducting door-to-door canvas, appointment or referral solicitation in assigned territory.
  • Perform instant installation consistent with the department guidelines.
  • Upgrade and improve sales presentation, knowledge of products, services and rates. Attend sales meetings as required.
  • Systematically review assigned territory to ensure dwelling units are contacted on a prescribed, periodic basis.
  • Maintain required record keeping and reporting of all sales and service activities.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding minimum monthly sales quota as determined by Sales Manager.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly and thoroughly on a daily basis.
  • Maintain current knowledge of, as well as, demonstrates knowledge of product, programming and various promotional offers.
  • Project a professional business manner and operates with a high degree of integrity.
  • Perform other duties as requested.
  • Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance. 

    • Job Requirements 

    Preferred Qualifications: - Ability to work alone, be a self thinker, self starter and communicate on a daily basis. - Professional appearance. - Must be able to work evenings and Saturdays. - Ability to work under pressure. - Previous sales experience. - Valid Drivers license and good driving record.
    Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
    Experience: Minimum 1 year experience in a sales environment or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education.
    Working Conditions: - Work around newly constructed homes. - Ability to climb stairs in apartment dwellings. - Travel in inclement weather. - Ability to manipulate phone, pen and papers. - Ability to carry 5 lbs. - Ability to drive personal vehicle.
