Junior Accountant

Purpose:
Junior Accountant 33-10172824

The Junior Accountant will perform a variety of general accounting duties such as but not limited to: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Posting Journal Entries, spreadsheet maintenance, and assisting with Month-End and Year-End close. This position is located in DeKalb and will report to the Assistant Controller.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for General Ledger Maintenance and Journal Entries
• Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Bank and account reconciliation
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Assist in Accounts Payable and Account Receivable responsibilities

Requirements
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a problem-solver
