Project Manager - MIDAS+

General Summary:
Serve as project manager for DataVision and CPMS software product changes and enhancements.Facilitate cross-departmental teams through entire project lifecycle, from conception, to delivery to customers.Proactively assess effort and activities required for successful and timely project completion, and report to colleagues and leaders status of projects.Detect and accurately assess unacceptable risks to project success, and escalate concerns appropriately.Through in-depth product knowledge, serve as principal resource in the identification, creation, and editing of all supporting documentation content necessary to develop, train and support CDSS products, including training manuals, and other tools used by internal and external clients.
Essential Job Functions:
qFacilitate cross-departmental team in identification and management of software projects, including definition, requirements analysis, solution assessment, testing, documentation, and deployment.
qMaintain status of projects using the project management system; identifying gaps in requirements analysis, testing plans or other project steps necessary to meet project time lines.
qIn collaboration with Product Manager, participate in the gathering, tracking and evaluation of enhancement requests from clients, regional consultants, sales, support and other internal staff.
qActively participate in the creative design of new products and features.
qIdentify key stakeholders associated with each project and facilitate intra and inter-department communication to ensure stakeholder buy-in and optimal product integration.
qResponsible for compiling and finalizing release notes for quarterly overlays; collaborating with other department members as necessary for content development.
qFacilitate education of Regional Consultants, Sales, Customer Support, Training and Implementation on product functionality and support as needed to ensure thorough and timely dissemination of new enhancements.
qAssist CDSS Product Support Team in the support of day-to-day client issues and questions regarding data quality, clinical relevance and product functionality of division products and services.
qProvide documentation content to support new products and services.This includes creation or editing of reference and training manuals, report interpretation guides, online documentation and help systems, Web pages, multimedia presentations and sales promotion materials.
qConduct on-line WebEx tutorials and product training sessions for new and existing clients as needed.
qDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with other departments within the organization to further the integration of division products and services.
qConduct Internet searches on topics relevant to the department’s needs.
qIdentify generalized improvements in implementation, training, documentation, support and product development.

Education and Experience
Bachelor degree in healthcare related field preferred.Additional education and experience in a role focused around project management required.External candidates must have a minimum of three years clinical field experience in a healthcare setting in quality management, utilization management, case management or other major functional area of MIDAS+ products. Candidates with prior experience in developing, testing, implementing, training, supporting or managing MIDAS+ products will be given preference.

Education and Experience
