Mosaic, one of the industry's leading North American field & event marketing companies, is currently seeking a part-time Brand Ambassador - Retail Sales & Promotions Specialist for a Project which concludes the latter part of December 2009.  The Brand Ambassador will impact sales on behalf of our client, one of the industry leaders in imaging technology.  In the role of Brand Ambassador, you will work EVERY weekend (Friday, Saturday, AND Sunday), with up to four additional weekday hours Wednesday - Friday), Black Friday and the week of Christmas. 
 
The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for building good relationships with store management and associates, as well as educating store personnel and consumers on the features and benefits of our client's imaging product (a well known brand).  Along with product education and promotional demonstration, this primarily part-time "assisted sales" position with merchandising duties, ensures that all client displays are well stocked and visually appealing.  The Brand Ambassador will be responsible for accomplishing these tasks in multiple retail locations within a specific territory.
 

Essential Responsibilities:
 
-  Visit each store in territory based on frequency defined for the retailer (includes mileage & drive time in some cases)
-  Educate store personnel on the features & benefits of our client's brand and product line
-  Conduct informal and formal training's at the retail level as needed
-  Build relationships with all levels of store sales associates and store management
-  Maintain demonstration units
-  Provide Sales & Product Demonstrations to customers
-  Incorporate "assisted selling" techniques to drive product sales
-  Work with store management to ensure the sales floor & displays are properly stocked and merchandised 
-  Maintain current point of sale materials
-  Complete timely & accurate daily on-line reports  
 
 
Project Work Schedule (Wed. thru Sunday):
 
Wed., Thurs. & Fri.:  Flexible hours between 9am & 7pm (weekday Assisted Sales visits), with additional visits scheduled Tuesday-Thursday the week Christmas (with designated times TBD)
 
Fridays:  Regular visit(s) as above PLUS Assisted Sales visits to be made 4 - 8pm OR 5 - 9pm, with extended hours on Black Friday (designated times TBD)

Sat. & Sun.:  generally 11am - 5pm, Noon-6pm (Assisted Sales Visits) as scheduled
 
PLEASE NOTE:  This project ends at the end of December 2009. 
 


Job Requirements 


-  Weekday and weekend hours include demonstrations and assisted sales visits during busy peak store hours
-  Mileage & drive time in some cases
-  Available to work up to 24 hours per week on average as outlined above
-  Merchandising / sales experience in multiple retail locations preferred
-  Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude
-  Tremendous interpersonal communications skills - must be a "people person"
-  Ability to learn and master consumer electronic and technical information 
-  Comfortable educating & sharing product feature and benefit information with customers & retail associates 
-  Background/experience with consumer electronics and technology preferred
-  Computer literate and savvy with PC
-  Communicate effectively in both face-to-face and group presentations and demonstrations
-  Able to embrace and implement new initiatives and directives in a timely fashion
-  MUST be able to submit a non-returnable photo with your application
-  Professional appearance
-  Detail-oriented
-  Independent and self-motivated
-  Bi-lingual - English/Spanish preferred but not required
 
 
Technical Requirements:
 
-  Must have 24-hour daily access to an IBM compatible computer with an operating system of Windows 2000 or newer, along with Internet connectivity, a printer, email, and Internet Explorer (version 6.0 or newer)
-  Digital imaging/photography experience a plus- capturing, printing and sharing images
-  Ability to learn / use Q-Relay for reporting visit details - company will provide training

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to operate a computer using both hands; stand and /or walk for up to 8 hours in retail environment; sit; reach with hands and arms; read, talk and hear; count and perform basic mathematic functions; sort, organize, and assemble things according to written instructions; regular lifting up to 25 lbs. to move stock or displays from the stock room to selling floor.
