Purchasing Support Specialist - Client Resource Center
This position provides administrative support related to the Hardware Software procurement process to the Network Solutions group in the Great Plains Consulting organization. This person�s primary responsibilities include hardware and software procurement primarily for client use related to Network Solutions offerings.
Responsibilities include:
� Interface with all levels of personnel within the Network Solutions consulting organization in a professional and responsive manner.
� Serve as the primary contact internally and externally for all HW and software orders, returns and exchanges.
� Maintain data input and accuracy into the Purchase Order database.
� Ensure timely and accurate HW and software procurement and delivery.
� Ensure firm policies and guidelines are adhered to.
� View all interactions as customer service transactions, providing prompt, attentive and courteous support.
� Provide back up support for other departmental duties as assigned
� Contacting clients, vendors, other McGladrey offices, on behalf of consulting when requested.
� Coordinating work flow and delegating to other resources to assure prompt and efficient completion of necessary actions.
� Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
� 3+ years of experience
� Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Preferred Skills
� Associates Degree in Business or Information Technology a plus
� Strong interpersonal skills providing the ability to interact with internal and external clients on a professional basis
� Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage several projects at once and complete tasks in a timely manner (multiple priorities and client demands)
� Responsible for high quality of work completed for client engagements.
� Other duties as assigned.
