More than Social Networking this is a Knowledge Management opportunity. This is a unique position to develop strategies for gathering knowledge and sharing it with our medical community. How will you develop ways to organize and share highly technical information from a non-social networking savvy team? How will you create communities of practice?
We are a leading hub of resources to medical professionals around the world. We are taking our resources online in a greater capacity and need an expert in Digital Knowledge Management and working with several communities of practice.
What do you need to apply?
• 7+ years of performing Knowledge Management strategies
• Experience designing an in-house KM practice from scratch
• Expertise working within many communities of practice
• Bachelors Degree - in communications or related
• Hands on experience with social networking - wikipedia, blogs, twitter, FB, LI etc
What will you do?
• Develop and implement strategy for Knowledge Management
• Create communities of practice and best practices for delivering topic related news and special interest information
• Enhance and grow sophisticated online presence for us.
• Create strategy and implement methodologies for increasing our digital membership
• Identify key areas to provide new industry information, support and training to our physicians / members
• Create and maintain online presence with specialty websites, online forums and industry related sites (Facebook, Twitter, Linked In as well as medical sites)
• Develop reports and analysis of networking and digital strategy to update department and make changes accordingly
• Develop relationships and participation of interesting and relevant professionals to our sites
• Stay on the cutting edge of community-oriented sites and implement new content, programs etc to remain fresh and exciting
