Role Summary/Purpose


Essential Responsibilities
GE Healthcare, Surgery is looking for a energetic, dedicated and thorough engineer to support the installed base of GE Healthcare’s mobile x-ray imaging systems. The duties of this role are:

  • Solve electrical engineering problems at the component through system level.
  • Conduct testing utilizing existing test protocols or develop new ones as needed.
  • Generate written protocols and reports.

  • Provide electrical engineering support for the resolution of complaints regarding product quality and safety issues.

  • Analyze processes, quality records, service records, returned product and other sources of quality information to identify existing and potential causes of product quality or safety issues.

  • Implement and document engineering changes.

  • Comply with and ensure that products meet company goals, objectives, policies and procedures; industry regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringExperience in conducting detailed investigations and troubleshooting problems to root causeExperience with both Analog and Digital circuit designYou must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background.You must be willing to take a drug testYou must be legally authorized to work in the United StatesYou must be willing to work out of an office located in Salt Lake City, Utah

    Desired Characteristics
    2 years of engineering experience.Previous Healthcare experiencePrevious experience with Corrective Action/ Preventative Action (CAPA.)Master Of Science in Electrical Engineering.Six-sigma experience or certificationPrevious GE experienceLocal Candidate preferred
