As a result we have attracted and developed a team of exceptionally well qualified and dedicated employees.Analyze, plan and coordinate unit set fielding operations for PEO Soldier equipment to units during their phased transition through the Army Force Generation (ARFORGEN) operating cycle. Serve on a team charged with forecasting and managing ARFORGEN Soldier-as-a-System (SaaS) Unit Set Fielding, reset and modernization equipping requirements, and other Command activities across the ARFORGEN planning horizons. Specific duties and responsibilities include: - develop, coordinate, and communicate near, mid, and long-term operational and logistic strategies and plans in accordance with ARFORGEN equipping requirements. - identify forces for strategic/operational materiel demand planning and execution; synchronize shareholders to achieve optimal application of resources; record fielding results and adjust plans as required to ensure mission success. - coordinate migration of Reserve Component fielding to support reduced RC mobilization timelines; monitor and respond to mobilization or deployment plan changes to ensure program responsiveness to RC adjustments within the ARFORGEN operating cycle. - conduct detailed coordination with gaining commands and units to ensure that fielding plans and unit fielding schedules are consistent with HQDA guidance, planned resources, and command priorities. - document external materiel fielding notifications and agreements at the strategic and operational levels as specified or implied in the ARFORGEN Implementation Plan and AR 700-142 (among other sources). -analyze, research, coordinate, and implement PEO Soldier equipping policy and procedures. - prepare graphic and written communications. Position requires occasional travel within CONUS and successful candidate must be able to operate independently. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree required. Staff and operational planning experience at a Battalion or Brigade level is desired. Applicants selected for this position will require background screening and the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
