Position Summary:
Responsible for all distribution activities in stock, receiving and shipping. This includes ensuring lead times, productivity and quality standards are met in picking, packaging and stock/receiving and that all employees are acting in accordance with established processes and policies. Provides day-to-day work direction, training and feedback to employees. Maintains acceptable productivity and quality levels for department. Includes authority to enforce company policies, provide work directing, train team members, schedule vacations, approve flex time and critique performance.

Job Requirements:
A four-year college degree in business, logistics, industrial engineering, management or equivalent work experience. 3-5 years of distribution supervision experience in a global company. Experience in the various warehouse picking technologies and the use of various barcode and scanning technologies to improve picking/packaging efficiencies. The individual will need to know the principles of MRP and also have familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP. The individual most have a proven track record of establishing disciplined work processes and improving those processes. Strong nonexempt supervisory and project management skills. Excellent oral / written communication skills.
