The Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System (SCLHS) was formed in 1972 to strengthen and unify the health care facilities sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth. The SCLHS System is made up of nine hospitals and four stand-alone clinics located in the states of California, Colorado, Kansas, and Montana. As part of the healing mission of the Catholic Church, SCLHS and its Affiliates witness to the Gospel of Jesus by striving to provide quality health care in a spirit of justice and charity. SCLHS has a rich history and continues its ministry today through a commitment to our Mission, vision and values. Through the Health Services Growth & Transformation strategic goal, a major technology initiative has been implemented to transform care delivery across the Hospitals of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System.

The Vice President of Finance and Support Services (VPFSS) provides leadership for on-site aspects of financial operations and provides senior leadership direction to non-clinical support functions of Holy Rosary Healthcare and related organizations in order to achieve financial and strategic goals consistent with the mission and values of the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System (SCLHS). The VPFSS directs the implementation of System policies and procedures to assure accurate and timely financial planning and reporting consistent with overall SCLHS policies and procedures. He/she acts as an integral part of Holy Rosary Healthcare senior leadership team, assuming responsibilities for overseeing Holy Rosary Healthcare on site financial operations controlling assets, directing budgetary accountability, and overseeing key support departments. The VPFSS is accountable for operations of the following depts.:
- Business Office
- Information Services
- Food and Nutrition
- Medical Records
- Materials Management
- Environmental Services
- Plant Operations
- Finance & Accounting (onsite)
Pursuant to the operating company model of SCLHS and the Montana Region, this position also reports in matrix to the Montana Region CFO for Financial Mgt and Business Office Functions and manages with matrix support from the Regional and System level key support areas. The annual performance review and goal setting will be completed by the Holy Rosary Healthcare CEO in conjunction with the Regional matrix positions according to policy.
Education: Bachelors degree in finance or Accounting required, Masters Degree in Business Administration preferred.Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in management of hospital finance/accounting and support department operations including revenue cycle and financial analysis. Experience with complex Medicare rules and decision support preferred including experience with Critical Access Hospitals.
