Responsibilities: +Set up and operate machinery such as Bridgeports and manual lathes. +Analyze part drawings, sketches and design data to determine dimension and configuration of cuts. +Select cutting tools and machine speeds and feeds according to knowledge of machine shop processes. +Determines reference points and direction of machine cutting paths.
Requirements: +Experience with surface grinding and working with tools. +Ability to read prints as-needed. +Programming with Virtual Gibbs would also be a strong plus.
