GMAC Financial Services is a global finance company operating in and servicing North America, South America, Europe and Asia-Pacific. GMAC specializes in automotive finance, real estate finance, insurance, commercial finance and online banking. | Job Description |
Purpose and Function of Job:
Reporting to the eCommerce Customer Research Manager, this individual will be responsible for managing the online survey tool, including survey design, analysis and reporting for Global Marketing.
Responsible for multiple studies to determine customer/prospect feedback on GMAC websites. Works with senior managers to develop marketing research including assisting technology, brand and business partners on the implementation of recommendations suggested by the research. Responsible for designing, planning, conducting, analyzing and presenting findings.
Principle Accountabilities:
Responsibilities include: design, conduct and deliver data analyses providing key business insights to help understand and predict website performance, and identify opportunities.
Help develop methods to track effectiveness of implemented website changes/enhancements.
Provide a supporting role in large, more complex analysis projects and a leading role in smaller, less complex analysis projects.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned. |

| Job Requirements |
Experience and Skills Required:
5+ years market research experience either on the vendor or client side.
Ability/ experience with working with research vendors and senior mgmt critical.
Experience in eCommerce and financial services helpful.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Strong problem solving skills. Ability to proactively design analytical solutions to business problems.
Ability to articulate complex concepts into language that can be understood by business partners.
Ability to weave data into a compelling story complete with implications and recommendations.
Team player but can also work independently. Able to forge and maintain strong relationships. |
