Job Description

Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. (CNI) was created for the purpose of promoting the economic development and long-term financial viability of the Chickasaw Nation.

CNI now owns and manages many business enterprises that collectively employ more than 2,000 people. The long-term strategy of CNI is to continue to grow by expanding the number of federal contracts and through selective acquisition of small 8(a) companies that fit the CNI business model. CNI will remain a business enterprise that supports and adds value to the economic independence of the Chickasaw Nation.

The Computer Specialist supports the United States Army Intelligence Center (USAIC) by providing support to lever technology and enhance teaching and learning. This would provide an in-house capability to develop interactive multimedia courseware and manage the operations of our current learning management system as well as the future transition to the Army learning management (ALMS) system. The contractor will improve the exchange of information between the student and the instructor for Distributed Learning (dL) Military Intelligence courseware.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Possess a minimum security clearance of SECRET.

Analyze, design, develop, test, and implement all on-line computer-based training and other web interfaces and supporting products using a combination of software packages

Review user requirements and document all content requirements

Manage content collection and version control for products including application coding and database design for web development initiatives

Establish and maintain content review, testing, and release schedules

Ensure all web development documentation is complete and in compliance with all applicable regulations

Explore and troubleshoot all software/hardware problems that may result in mission failure

Develop detailed flowcharts and instructions for programs, develop general run diagrams and process flowcharts

Provide first-line user support and enforce the standardization of all web content for all team-developed or integrated applications

Consult with clients and other project team members

Participate in all applicable conferences, meetings or work group sessions at USAIC

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Possess demonstrated knowledge and skills related to the areas listed below:
VB (Same as VBS and VB 1.0+)
VBA (Same as VB but syntax is altered to work with MS Access and is a lower level language) (Event orientated)
C, C+, C++
PHP Web/Server Side scripting
Java
JavaScript
A basic understanding of Database development and deployment
a. Relationships and the security issues involved
b. Simple construct for all SQL queries
i. MYSQL
ii. MSQL
iii. Oracle
Basic/advanced standalone/networking trouble shooting techniques (UNIX/Windows)
Knowledge working with automated and digitized learning management, training management, training development systems, such as the Army Learning Management System (ALMS), the University of Military Intelligence (UMI)-SumTotal and the Joint Knowledge Development and Distribution Capability (JKDDC) Learning Management System.

Possess a general understanding of simple/basic data constructs, procedural coding, and Object Orientated-Programming. Experience with tools used for interactive multimedia instruction (IMI), to include educational software and hardware. Also experience with computer support of educational tool development.
