Kelly Engineering Resources, the engineering staffing unit, of Kelly Services, Inc. has upcoming opportunity for an HVAC Mechanic. This is a permanent position for a client in Atlanta, GA.
Job Summary: ' Services and repairs HVAC equipment and thermostats. ' Records daily major equipment operating logs and takes appropriate action. ' Operates Building Automation systems and sets schedules. ' Operates Building Fire Alarm systems and takes appropriate action during alarms. ' Responds to building services calls and takes appropriate actions. ' Clean, services and repairs cooling towers as needed. ' Locates and replaces defective electrical outlets, switches, breakers, fuses, building automation devices and fire alarm devices. ' Trouble shoots motor control centers and other control circuits with a VOM meter.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Position requires a high school diploma or general education degree; accredited two-year vocational school degree in HVAC or Electrical Maintenance, four years related experience in commercial building. A 4th Class boiler license is preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS A CFC certification is also required.
