Come see what you are missing!Role Summary/PurposeThe Electronic Test Equipment Engineer will provide the design and development of test equipment systems, test equipment documentation, test procedures and training for the test equipment in support of commercial and military aircraft applications. In this role your Hardware and software designs must meet the required commercial and military specifications for certification and qualification. Essential Responsibilities Ability to perform detailed test system design, simulation, troubleshooting and test. Ability to organize and clarify technical requirements, develop support documentation and support development and field testing of commercial and military aircraft components. Lead the execution of design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements Current in regard to aerospace test equipment capabilities to support current design and customer requirements. Anticipate resource skill needs on assigned projects, and work with program managers and subsection managers to fill needs. Support engineering NPI checklists on assigned projects. Support bid and proposal estimates using work breakdown structure methodologies to estimate the labor and material. Recommend approaches to meet the technical and program requirements Formulate and implement plans to achieve technical requirements, scheduling, and contract commitments Ability to provide technical training for test equipment for our customers, both internal and external Provide technical leadership to other personnel and assigned teams; mentor others in the organization Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments Lead Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Support customer and supplier meetings with program manager, which include preparation of presentation material for design reviews and technical information status reviews.
Qualifications/Requirements BSEE from an accredited university or college (or a ASEE with at least 5 years directly applicable test equipment engineering experience) At least 3 additional years of experience in engineering This position requires access to controlled technology. To abide by Export Compliance regulations candidates must have either US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident Alien Status.
