  The Technical Staff Specialist for Radiation Oncology develops and enhances healthcare-related information systems and related components. Duties include: �Develops or modifies highly complex or technically advanced systems or system enhancements in accordance with accepted ITG protocols and standards.�Assists with project planning and management efforts related to technical issues and concerns.�Performs necessary programming and other related duties are required.�In coordination with departmental management, ensures computer systems meet regulatory agency requirements.Qualifications1.A baccalaureate degree from an accredited school in Computer Science or highly related discipline or equivalent or equivalent combinations of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities have been acquired.2.A minimum of six years of professional programming experienced is required.3.Demonstrated expertise in one or more technically advanced skills, including but not limited to expertise in multiple operating systems and/or hardware platforms, advanced language development capabilities, network design, programming and administration experience, advanced user interface development tools, and database management system administration.4.Effective oral and written communication skills are necessary in working with senior ITG staff, hospital administrators and other information system users.5.Ability to train junior staff members and work as part of a team.CB
