Programmer
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Programmer contract position in Midland, MI.
**This is a contract to hire position
Responsibilities and prospects for professional growth include: -Enters or deletes alphabetic, numeric, or symbolic data from source documents into various software programs.
-Compares data entered with source documents, to verify that correct data was input or deleted.
-Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
-Keeps record of work completed.
-Produces necessary labels; loads data (disks, tapes, cards, etc), loads stock (label, and/or bag tags).
-May perform mailing list maintenance; makes additions and deletions to lists; uses computer to merge and purge multiple and new lists.
-Cleans up and keeps work area neat and orderly.
-May perform customer service duties as required.
Experience Required: - Printing/graphic arts oriented. - Basic and working knowledge of Proof/Plate making, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, Adobe Photoshop, Retrospect, Suitcase, MicroSoft Word, Excel and Access programs. - Experience with Macintosh, most current Windows operating systems. Experience in working in a network environment. - Ability to apply written and verbal instructions to data process/management operations. Ability to operate computer in mailing list processing. Demonstrates positive safety attitude.
