The Direct Mail Sales Representative will be responsible for account planning, prospecting, qualifying and closing sales of the company’s products, services and programs to named accounts, both new and existing; will represent the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales-related activities, coordinate with internal Tribune Direct resources as necessary, will coordinate the required sales resources and be responsible for acquiring, expanding and retaining accounts. The Sales Representative is the “face" to the customer in both sales and operations issues at the local level.
The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of market strategy, direct mail campaigns and printing. Previous experience with outside, business-to-business print and/or print media sales is required (3+ years).
