Job Description

The Marketing Department at OHL is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Manager supporting our North America Logistics Services.  Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 This position will have ownership and end-to-end responsibility for developing and executing the tactical marketing plan for OHL’s Contract Logistics ("CL") and North America Transportation ("NAT") business units.

The Marketing Manager will be highly focused on multi-channel marketing and lead generation campaigns for CL/NAT, and will be closely linked with the business unit leadership, sales leadership and business development team members. This person will be heavily involved with identification and development new business acquisition programs as well as business unit cross-selling strategies and tactics for existing customers. This position also involves providing post-campaign results analysis, new service/product roll-out support and on-going education for the business unit sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Development and ownership of annual marketing plan for each business unit
  • Develop and execute business to business marketing campaigns based on market or sales needs with emphasis on direct marketing principles (print/digital)
  • Work with and direct Marketing Communications for consistent messaging
  • Provide business units with necessary trends and market intelligence (Competitive tracking)
  • Provide educational support on new and existing services within the business unit as well as across two other business units
  • Analyze program results and actively track return on marketing investment (ROMI)

 

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field required.
  • 5-7 years of marketing management experience is required.
  • Experience in 3PL industry (services marketing) is strongly preferred. Experience with integrated services (warehousing/transportation) is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytic and fact-based decision-making skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Ability to anticipate risks and devise contingencies to manage them.
  • Outstanding computer skills; must be proficient using Microsoft Office products including Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook. Additional experience and knowledge of database applications and project management systems a strong plus.
  • Must possess both outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem solving skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks.
