Human Resources Associate Business Partner

We are presently seeking a Human Resources Associate Business Partner to join our team in Baltimore. In this position, you will be based at our administration building in Baltimore, and will provide Human Resources generalist support to the various Hertz locations throughout Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia.

 

As a key member of our HR team, your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Help maintain a positive employee and labor relations climate
  • Support recruiting process
  • Benefits Administration
  • Personnel File Maintenance
  • Coach and advise on employee relations issues
  • Leave of Absence administration and tracking
  • At our union locations, provide assistance with dispute resolution, contract interpretation, and collective bargaining
  • Respond to employee questions and concerns
  • Conduct New Hire Monthly Orientations

Requirements:


  •  A Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline.

     

    • A minimum of 1 year of progressive Human Resources Generalist experience.
    • Knowledge of Federal and State regulations in addition to US Employment Law.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • A commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong relationship-building skills.
    • Assertiveness, initiative, and a high energy level.
    • Experience supporting a unionized workforce preferred.
    • Above average knowledge with Microsoft Office.
