Position Summary The Sales Effectiveness Specialist is responsible for developing and executing process tools, reference materials as well as models and support materials to maximize productivity in the contract organization. This position will apply principles and techniques that support the Contract organization and ensure excellent ROI, and inspire all OfficeMax personnel to exceed customer satisfaction and sales objectives. This position will work in Contract Field Sales, Customer Service and Customer Contact Center. Position Responsibilities 1. Identifies and plans the development of process, policy and procedure information using tools such as SharePoint, ASP, SAP and Java. 2. Conduct assessment of the content owner's performance expectations and determine the most effective manner to create and deploy information, skills and abilities related to the expectations. 3. Create tools and programs to maximize productivity, efficiency to improve revenue and reduce cost. Development of tools and programs should take into consideration the most effective techniques including web-based materials, multi-media presentations and computer based content to ensure the objectives of the program are met. 4. Develop evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of process, policy and information including ROI. 5. Develop strategies to effectively communicate, build support for and ensure the continued reinforcement of content. 6. Assists vendors, suppliers and subject matter experts to ensure compliance with sales effectiveness objectives. 7. Design and develop related material such as reference material, process documentation and policy guidelines. 8. Coordinates efforts with Field Sales, Customer Service and Customer Contact Centers to ensure materials are presented consistently and in the most effective manner. 9. Determines tasks and resources associated with projects by identifying equipment, materials and people needed and coordinating with internal and external business partners. 10. Establishes courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completed efficiently. 11. Monitors the results of delegations, assignments, or projects and considers the skills, knowledge, and experience of the assigned individual in conjunction with the characteristics of the assignment or project. 12. Position Requirements - Minimum High School Graduate required
- 2 plus years experience developing process and procedure programs utilizing the most current design techniques.
- Must have experience with web-based, online and other multi-media technique
- Proven record of developing creative-high impact programs and materials with excellent ROI preferred
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Process documentation certification preferred
