This Food Service Supervisor position is at the University of Rochester. 

 

As Food Service Supervisor, your daily responsibilities would include:

  • Direct supervision of a student work force
  • Maintaining the established standards for the Corner Store
  • Monitoring the receiving and storage of product
  • Maintaining the established stocking levels
  • Assisting with the purchasing of food
  • Assisting with the scheduling of the staff
  • Accountability of cash deposits and sales reports
  • Accurate counting of inventory on a weekly basis

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 25 pounds and ability to stand for long periods of time.

 



Ideal candidates will have a minimum high school education with 1-2 yrs retail sales experience. Computer and some administrative skills are required. Contract-managed service experience is desired. Must be willing to work flexible schedule that will include late nights and week-ends.
