This Food Service Supervisor position is at the University of Rochester. As Food Service Supervisor, your daily responsibilities would include: - Direct supervision of a student work force
- Maintaining the established standards for the Corner Store
- Monitoring the receiving and storage of product
- Maintaining the established stocking levels
- Assisting with the purchasing of food
- Assisting with the scheduling of the staff
- Accountability of cash deposits and sales reports
- Accurate counting of inventory on a weekly basis
Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 25 pounds and ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ideal candidates will have a minimum high school education with 1-2 yrs retail sales experience. Computer and some administrative skills are required. Contract-managed service experience is desired. Must be willing to work flexible schedule that will include late nights and week-ends. |
