Job Description 

Sodexo is seeking a Resource Manager for Senior Service accounts in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, region. This position requires travel, overnight stays, working on a 10 days on / 4 off schedule. Flexibility in schedule is needed. Essential skills needed for this position include management fundamentals in day to day operational support; supervision of employees, scheduling experience, managing employee relations issues, culinary fundamentals, hands-on food preparation (able to fill in as cook when needed), food production, inventory control, food cost control, supervision of dining room / waitstaff. Previous food service experience in a retirement community is a plus. This position is an excellent opportunity to begin your management career with Sodexo. Position Summary:

Responsible for managing multi-functional food service areas in a single unit. May assume GM's responsibilities and authority in his/her absence. Assists in maintenance of cash control and payroll records. Assists in supporting the financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.

Basic Education Requirement:

High School Diploma or GED

Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required:

None

Basic Functional Experience Required:

1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.Position Posting Title: Manager 1 - Food Service
