Molecular Biology Research Associate Location: Western Suburbs of Chicago Our client is currently seeking skilled molecular biologists to perform cutting-edge research in a dynamic team environment. Candidates must have a BS or MS in Molecular Biology, Biology or Biochemistry and a strong research background. Individuals must be able to immediately contribute with minimal training and should have 2-5 years research or industry experience utilizing various molecular biological techniques. Candidates should be familiar with some/all of the following techniques and concepts: - Site-directed mutagenesis - Work with expression plasmids - Bacterial cell culture - Cell conjugation - Protein amplification - Cell fractionation - Gel Electrophoresis - Protein Purification At this time, we are not considering candidates with a PhD.
