Job Description



Job Function:  Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

Business Unit:  Engineered Products & Solutions

Job Status:  Full-Time

Relocation Eligible:  No

This position will work closely with location and Business Unit personnel to develop and deploy a wide-range of comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety processes that support Alcoa's commitment to an injury and incident free workplace. Key accountabilities include management of the location’s Environmental, Health and Safety processes. The successful candidate will be part of the location’s management team and may be assigned other duties associated with supporting other Business Unit EHS objectives. Key Responsibilities
  • Coach and counsel location and line leadership in furthering and improving ownership and execution of EHS objectives
  • Develop and implement EHS systems to ensure sustainability
  • Conduct applicable environmental and industrial hygiene sampling and complete necessary reporting
  • Conduct applicable EHS related training and risk assessments
  • Other EHS responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of EHS experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience with all 3 sectors (Environmental, Safety and Health) is required
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of appropriate environmental, health and safety regulations
  • Experience in preparation of technical EHS related reports
  • B.S Degree in an EHS-related field
