    Our client in HUNTSVILLE, AL is seeking an RECEPTIONIST to support their integrated DoD communications systems.

    Job Title: RECEPTIONIST
    Location: Huntsville, AL
    Duration: 6 months (potential contract-to-hire)
    Rate $9.00 - $11.00/hr.
    Hrs/Wk: 40

    DUTIES:

  • Maintain reception lobby in an orderly manner.
  • Perform clerical and typing tasks as directed by supervisor.
  • Required to lock doors when entrance is closed after regular working Hours.
  • Receive visitors who have business with Company personnel, and contact appropriate party
  • May assist other departments by performing routine clerical functions.
  • Receive and properly distribute expense checks, airline tickets, special messenger envelopes, and order taxi cabs or other transportation, as required.
  • Provide pertinent information and assistance to visitors.
  • Issue temporary visitor badges and account for their return.
  • Maintain building authorization rosters of Company personnel authorized to sign for badges.
  • Ensure Company personnel have proper badge identification before admittance.
  • Recognize Company executives exempt from wearing or showing Company-issued badges.
  • Issue Company property passes and review incoming / outgoing equipment to ensure proper authorization.
  • Issue parking stickers to visitors.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent and up to 5 years experience.

    2. Must have a working knowledge on MS Office (Word and Excel).

    3. Must have a professional presence to work on Company Lobby/Reception

    4. Must be ready to work on various clerical projects.

    5. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident to qualify. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. - cannot sponsor H1-B Visa.

    COMPENSATION/COMMENTS:

    $9.00 - $11 per hour - plus APR Medical/Dental Benefits package, 401k plan, etc.. - benefits available shortly into this contract (30+ days - starting with the 1st of the following month of the start date).

    COMMENTS:

    A DRUG TEST and 7 year CRIMINAL BACKGROUND will be conducted, if an offer is made; must be able to pass all screenings in order to be hired.
