ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities listed below are intended to provide general guidelines and parameters for the job and are not intended to be a comprehensive, detailed description of the job.

Sales Goals and Strategies
� Provide guidance and strategic planning for the dealership with respect to sales goals
� Achieve sales volume and profitability objectives utilizing all sales channels in a continually changing environment
� Implement and execute all company-wide marketing initiatives so as to maximize their impact and to help meet or exceed sales goals
� Manage, develop, and implement dealership strategies for increasing sales
� Identify referral source prospects for dealership, create a strategy to develop relationships with prospects, and monitor and maintain positive referral source relationships

Sales Team Effectiveness
� Recruit, screen, interview, hire, and develop successful Sales Associates.
� Provide proactive leadership to the sales team to achieve maximum sales results in a method consistent with DriveTime's vision and values.
� Conduct sales meetings to motivate and share successful selling techniques and skills.
� Evaluate sales performance and give timely, consistent feedback and training as appropriate, based on observations of Sales Associate performance and behavior and the review of sales performance statistics.
� Implement and execute all company-wide training initiatives so as to maximize their impact and to help develop successful Sales Associates.
� Set Sales Associates' work schedules and ensure that staffing meets customer volume and that appropriate floor coverage is achieved at all times.
� Complete and conduct semi-annual performance evaluations.
� Actively contribute to the success of sales team.

Customer Service
� Exhibit a relationship-oriented approach to customers, vendors, and employees
� Develop and enhance customer relationships by establishing, promoting, maintaining excellent customer service with sales operations
� Support the GM in identifying community organizations and events appropriate for dealership involvement
� Actively participate with sales team in community organizations and events to represent and promote a positive image of DriveTime within the community

Reports
� Track sales progress and initiate changes as need to meet goals and targets
� Review dealership and sales performance statistics, including commission and other earnings related reports to ensure accuracy
� Track, document, and distribute sales prospects

Finance
� Underwrite the contract and loan by reviewing the credit application and the credit report, and interviewing the customer
� Coordinate with the Loan Manager to ensure deals maintain or improve the credit mix within the portfolio
� Monitor or complete the contract closing to ensure the customer understands terms and conditions of the contract
� Complete employment, residence, and reference verifications
� Review deal jackets to ensure that deals are complete

Other
� Work with dealership management team to ensure that DriveTime policies and procedures are communicated, understood, implemented, and maintained

Job Requirements

� High School Diploma or equivalent.
� Experience in management or supervisory position is desirable.
� Good communication skills and understanding people skills are required.
