As a member of Comcast's Business Services team, you will be responsible for sales of Comcast's Business Class Voice and Internet Services. 80% is outbound dialing/prospecting and 20% is inbound calling for this position. Other duties are as follows:
Meet production standards across all Comcast Commercial products while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Account Manage High-Speed Data, Video, and Voice product sales from initial contact and survey process through install to the commercial market while maintaining ownership of individual connect goals.
Candidate will be service-oriented with exceptional communications skills and a proven track record of sales achievement within a team call center environment with verifiable experience with Cable Data billing application.
Accurately presents Commercial product information to assist customers in choosing the best Commercial service to suit their needs.
Responsible for accurate data management and service of commercial accounts including scheduling of service calls and escalation of service
issues to supervisor or manager.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal and listening skills, ability to gather key subscriber data in an organized
manner and resolve service issues as required.
Day to day activities and % of time spent on each major responsibility include: 75% of
time: Sell Comcast products and services to commercial customers. Duties include:
communicating product pricing and packaging while locking customers into term contracts. Gather accurate data about new
business contacts and office buildings: legal name, address, verification of agreement status, owner and contact information,
unauthorized and competitive activity. Respond to all customer calls with care and urgency. 15% of time: Maintain effective relationships
with area field personnel and operation support teams. 10% of time: Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to filing of the
agreed upon contracts, accurate lead maintenance in the Workbench and other designated databases,
and other duties as assigned by telesales Supervisor.
Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance is required.
Job Requirements
Education: High school graduate or the recognized equivalent.
Experience: 3 years prior sales experience preferred; Commercial sales experience a plus;
Excellent verbal and written skills; Excellent organizational skills; Knowledge
of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Cable Data helpful; Must be results
oriented; Ability to work overtime, as needed.
