Job Description
Job Summary:     The Correspondence Coordinator is responsible for processing requests for medical information from patient records for patients, families, third parties and the legal community. Essential Duties:
  • Supports the revenue cycle.
  • Works with the hospital and legal community in the application of federal and state laws as well as hospital policies and procedures to support the proper release of information.
  • Performs administrative duties as necessary to support the correspondence function and to aid in managing risk.


Job Requirements
Education:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • AA Degree is preferred.
  • Medical Terminology is preferred.
Experience:
  • Minumum 1 year of experience in the field.
  • Efficient computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
