Job Description
Preparation/review of individual, partnership, trust, and corporation income tax returns, estimated tax calculations, tax authority exam analysis, and other accounting/tax related matters.General banking functions to include, but are not limited to the review of bill paying, deposit of funds, transfers, wires, check orders, and other transactional functions as needed.General bookkeeping and accounting functions include, but are not limited to source accounting for transactions, statement reconciliation, preparation of monthly cash flow reports, preparation and communication of payroll information to payroll service, 1099 and W2 preparation, as they relate to tax authority requirements.Communicate orally and/or in writing, accurate information in a timely manner to clients,client representatives, and client team on a continual basis regarding all services and issues pertaining to the family group. Cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensuring a continual interaction that promotes mutual trust and client retention.Supervises the workflow of administrative support staff and high level associates and provides coaching and professional development to those staff members.
 
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent training and/or work experience, CPA preferred.Minimum 5 years accounting/bookkeeping experience. 3 years supervisory experience.Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and able to rapidly learn new software applicationsExperience with bookkeeping systems Prosystems Global FX tax software system.Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build a significant level of trust with clients; empathy and a real interest in working with people. Self-confidence and a proven ability to work well with highly capable and successful individuals. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to supervise and coordinate workflow of a professional team.
