SR SUPERVISING ENGINEER

We have an immediate opening in the Transit & Rail Technical Resource Center (T&R TRC), a division of PB Americas, Inc., has an immediate opening for a Transit Project Manager/Engineer headquartered in Dallas TX. This position reports to the Vice President of PB's Central Region T&R TRC, and is responsible for managing a variety of rail transit related projects including preliminary and final engineering. Duties also include feasibility studies, cost estimating, system planning and development, pursuit management, marketing, and other business planning tasks. The candidate must be capable of applying diversified knowledge of standard engineering/planning and rail/transit industry-specific principles and practices. Candidate must have experience leading medium to large projects, and be capable of independently making decisions on significant engineering problems and issues. The candidate must be able to work in the U.S. immediately required.

Requirements Experience Required:



Major Duties:

Management responsibility for major projects
Identify and resolve complex problems requiring the development of new and improved techniques and procedures
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Pursuit planning and execution
Proposal preparation

Assure that engineering and planning services are commensurate with professional standards, client requirements, quality control and project objectives
Plan, organize and supervise staff and activities for a project of significant size and complexity
Financial management of projects
Other duties as assigned



Education Required:



Bachelor's degree in engineering or planning
Minimum 15 years of rail transit industry experience
Supervisory experience in rail transit projects
Demonstrated leadership with strong verbal/oral skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships
Professional registration preferred
