The Adecco Group, the largest human capital firm in the world, is seeking an Procurement Administrative Assistant on behalf of a multinational biotechnology company.
DUTIES:
Provide assistance to a department by performing various administrative/secretarial
Perform word processing and desktop publishing to include presentations, spreadsheets and graphs; transcribe information of a technical and/or sensitive nature
Review and edit written material to ensure accuracy, neatness, correct punctuation and grammar; recommend changes to improve readability and clarity.
Research, compile and summarize information to formulate correspondence and respond to various inquiries from internal and external customers.
Screen mail and callers, respond to and route inquiries to appropriate personnel
Use judgement to determine what issues need to be escalated
Coordinate, assist in planning, prepare agenda and monitor meetings; maintain calendar(s) and travel requests.
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Degree or higher
Highly proficient in Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook and Powerpoint
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
Knowledge of office/secretarial practices normally acquired through college level courses or equivalent work experience is required
Procurement experience a plus but not required
